The recommended kinematic viscosity range for the hydraulic operating fluid during operation is 20 to 200 mm²/sec. The optimum kinematic viscosity is 20 to 50 mm²/sec.
At startup, set the pump discharge side to a no-load state and operate the pump in the inching mode to remove any air that might be in the pump or pipes.
The pump suction side pressure should be set to -0.03 MPa or more (suction port flow velocity less than 2 m/sec).
Do not release the pressure in the hydraulic circuit by switching the solenoid valve (RS/WS type) on the pump.
The oil amounts required are as follows:
- PZS-3B: 1000 cm³
- PZS-4B: 1800 cm³
- PZS-5B: 2200 cm³
- PZS-6B: 3000 cm³
Before starting the pump, fill the pump body with clean hydraulic operating fluid through the lubrication port and ensure the rotation direction of the pump matches the direction indicated by the arrow on the pump body.
The factory default pump discharge rate setting is the maximum value, while the default discharge pressure is the minimum value. These settings should be changed according to the specific operating conditions.
