The maximum working pressure for the NACHI VDC vane pump is 14 MPa (142.8 kgf/cm²).
The NACHI VDC vane pump comes in various models such as VDC-1A, VDC-2A, VDC-3A, etc., with capacities ranging from 16.7 cm³/rev to 70 cm³/rev.
The discharge flow rate can be adjusted by rotating the discharge rate adjusting screw. Turning it clockwise decreases the flow rate, and counterclockwise increases it. The lock nut should be loosened before making adjustments and re-tightened afterward.
Before operating the pump for the first time, put it in a no-load state, then repeatedly start and stop the motor to bleed all air from the pump and suction piping. Continue the no-load operation for at least 10 minutes to discharge all air from the circuit.
For pressures of 7 MPa or lower, use hydraulic fluid equivalent to ISO VG32 (viscosity index of at least 90). For pressures greater than 7 MPa, use fluid equivalent to ISO VG68..
Drain piping must be directed to a point below the tank fluid level, ensuring back pressure due to pipe resistance does not exceed 0.1 MPa. For pumps with two drain ports, use the higher drain port.
The factory default pressure settings for the VDC series are as follows:
- Setting 2: 3.5 MPa (35.7 kgf/cm²)
- Setting 3: 3 MPa (30.6 kgf/cm²)
- Setting 4: 5 MPa (51 kgf/cm²)
- Setting 5: 7 MPa (71.4 kgf/cm²)
