The Kawasaki K5V Series Pump is a vertical, single-stage, self-priming pump for applications requiring high performance and high reliability. This series of vertical pumps provides higher power density with increased efficiency, lower cost of ownership and a smaller footprint.
Kawasaki has announced a new K5V pump that offers increased performance and durability. The pump is designed for use in submersible applications where high pressure is required. The K5V series pump provides an output of up to 45 GPM at 3,000 psi, which is a 20 percent increase over the previous model.
Realized higher displacement
Kawasaki K5V pump realized higher displacement, the pressure is higher than the previous generation, which will be more suitable for large diameter pipe operation.
Kawasaki K5V series realizations higher displacement to meet customer needs for low-pressure circulation system (1.0MPa), the maximum pressure of 3.0MPa, and its output is more than 5 times that of the previous generation.

The Kawasaki K5V is a variable displacement pump that can generate extremely high pressures at a flow rate of up to 20 liters per minute (L/min). It offers superior performance in terms of both pressure and flow rate. Its core technologies include high efficiency hydraulic seals and an advanced hydraulic control circuit design that utilizes pulse-width modulation (PWM) technology to control pressure fluctuations caused by pulsation at start-up and during operation. These technologies allow this pump to achieve stable operation with minimal vibration even at high speeds (more than 3000 rpm), while also realizing higher reliability than previous models.

Kawasaki K5v Pump Applications
The Kawasaki K5V pumps are high-pressure, high-flow pumps that are suitable for gasoline engines and industrial applications. They can be used in both single or dual pump configurations and can be mounted on top, front or rear of the engine. The K5V is also available with a 4-bolt flange for mounting to an intake manifold.
