According to DIN 51524, the A11VLO pump is designed for operation with HLP mineral oil. For environmentally acceptable hydraulic fluids or fire-resistant, water-free hydraulic fluids (HFDR/HFDU), refer to data sheets 90220, 90221, and 90222 respectively.
The nominal pressure is 350 bar (5100 psi), and the maximum pressure is 420 bar (6100 psi).
The temperature should not exceed 115 °C (240 °F) at any point of the component. For cold start or warm-up phases, the fluid should be between –40 °C to –25 °C (–40 °F to –13 °F).
These values vary by size. For instance, the input torque at drive shaft for size 110 is 1640 Nm (1210 lb-ft), and the through-drive torque is 960 Nm (708 lb-ft).

Recommended installation positions are positions ‘1’ and ‘2’, which involve below-reservoir installation. Control characteristics can be affected by gravity and case pressure in some positions.
